Immigration Resource Guide

We understand that in the current environment, concerns about school safety and immigration policies may increase, especially following the election. Please know that our schools will always be safe and welcoming spaces for all students and families, regardless of your background and immigration status.

Every child has the right to an education. Federal and state laws protect students ensuring that immigration officials actions do not take place on school campuses without proper legal authorization. This is supported by Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 5145.13, which ensures that we uphold students' rights and maintain a safe learning environment for everyone.

If you have any questions or need support, don't hesitate to contact us. You can contact your school office or the District Office at (310) 695-4000, and we will do our best to help. Together, we will ensure our schools remain safe, supportive places for all students to learn and grow.

Thank you for being a vital part of our school community.

Sincerely,
Gabriela Tavitian Superintendent
