Intra-District Transfer Information

Parents/Guardians who wish to request a school other than their assigned school of residence may apply for an Intra-District Transfer. The Intra-District Transfer process allows families residing within the District boundaries to request placement at another Lennox School District school, subject to space availability and District guidelines. Your child should attend the school of residence while you are awaiting notification regarding your permit request. 

Application Process

• Parents/Guardians must complete an Intra-District Transfer Request form between February 1 - June 30
• Applications are reviewed based on space availability, program capacity, and District priorities.
• Submission of an application does not guarantee approval.
• Parents/Guardians will be notified in writing of the decision once the review process is complete.

  Applications are available:

  • On the District website (link here)
  • At the District Office
  • At any school site within the District

  Completed applications must be submitted to the District Office between February 1st and the last day of the school year preceding the school year for which the transfer is requested.  

Important Considerations

• Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
• Students must maintain satisfactory attendance, behavior, and academic progress to remain on an approved transfer.
• Transfers may be revoked if District guidelines are not followed or if enrollment conditions change.
