Transitional Kindergarten to 8th Grade Registration
Registration
To register your student you will need the documentation below.
To assist you in the process we made some resources available to you here.
#1 Proof of Residency BP 5111.1, EC 48200, EC48, EC 4820L)
- Property tax payment receipts
- Rental property contract, lease or, or payment receipts
- Utility service contract, statement, or payment receipts
- Pay stubs
- Voter registration
- Correspondence from a government agency
- Declaration of residency executed by the parent or legal guardian of a pupil
#2 Proof of Age (BP 5111/AR 5111)
- A certified copy of a brith certificate or a statement by the local registrar or country recorder certifying the date of brith
- A duly attested baptism certificate
- A passport
- When none of the above documents is obtainable, an affidavit of the parent/guardian
- Other means prescribed by the Board.

Senate Bill (SB) 277 - Exemptions
SENATE BILL (SB) 277
Effective January 1, 2016, parents or guardians of students in any school or child-care facility, whether public or private, will no longer be allowed to submit a personal beliefs exemption to a currently-required vaccine.
Students will no longer be required to have immunizations for entry if they attend:
A home-based private school or
An independent study program with no classroom-based instruction.
However, parents or guardians must continue to provide immunization records for these students to their schools, and schools must continue to maintain and report records of immunizations that have been received for these students.
Students who have an individualized education program (IEP) should continue to receive all necessary services identified in their IEP regardless of their vaccination status.

#5 Oral Health Assessment (EC 49452.8)
California law now requires that your child have an oral health assessment in kindergarten or first grade, whichever is his or her first year of public school.
