Parent Education

One of the single best predictor of student success is a high level of parental involvement with their child's education. It is for this reason that Federal Title I funds and the California Local Control and Accountability Plan require a parental involvement component. In the Lennox School District, we echo the message from our state and federal governments by providing parent centers staffed with our parent liaisons at every school. The parent centers enroll our parents in classes to both inform and engage them in their students' education as well as provide opportunities for our parents to grow and flourish in their own education. New classes are offered free of charge every year through our partnerships with multiple schools and vendors.
